Livia Scott spent her early years in Portland Oregon where she memorized Monty Python sketches and perfected the art of "flim-flammin'" as she expertly tapered her jeans with gigantic strips of masking tape, which made her immensely popular. Like a lot of other weirdos, she then came to New York and trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She took master classes with David Mamet and Joseph Chaikin, which was pretty cool, and made her Off- Broadway debut with The Atlantic Theater Company in Once in a Lifetime.

In addition to her regular theatre appearances, Livia has been a contributing writer for Jest Magazine, a player on The National Lampoon Radio Hour, The Onion Radio Network, has appeared in sketches on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central's Honesty series on Motherload, AMC's Date Nite, numerous short films with lots of comedy people who she really likes like Victor Varnado, Becky Donohue & Besty Wise, Whitney Melton, Elephant Larry and Kevin Maher; and with Fred Willard, the independent feature film First Time Caller, directed by Paul Sullivan.

Livia hosts the variety show "Champagne," with David Engel (on temporary hiatus) and does her character monologues and stand up around town at places like Caroline's, Comix, Stand Up NY, Tell Your Friends, Sweet, and The Shark Show. She was also featured in Gawker, Comedy Central's Insider, and an article in The New York Times while workshopping her solo show, "Goodnight, O.J." based on real letters written to O.J. Simpson.
